The Sword and the Rose

Originating from the 1898 classic novel When Knighthood Was In Flower by Charles Major, The Sword and the Rose movie retells the story of Mary Tudor of England and her struggle to marry Charles Brandon, the love of her life. She is forced by her brother King Henry VIII to marry the infamous King of France Louis VII, as part of the peace treaty. But the Duke of Buckingham also wants Mary for himself, and will do everything in his power to keep Charles away once Louis VII is out of the picture. This is the story of how two lovers must overcome all obstacles in the name of love.
