She can walk again, but Polly finds the town in a state of disharmony as the townspeople try to adjust to a new director at the orphanage as well as the state of agitation that election can bring.

Debbie Allen, who directed Polly, does a first-rate job directing and choreographing this charming story about a courageous orphan whose steadfast strength endeavors to unify the entire town.
